Rules, Points and Protest
League Rules
Having fun is the most important thing that matters to us, however, to enable everyone to have fun we do need a few rules of engagement.
All drivers are expected to have read and understood Iracing’s own drivers code of conduct.
In addition, SPR have produced its own drivers code of conduct for league racing which all drivers are expected to confirm they have read and understood.
Championship Points
Championship points will be awarded to drivers depending on their finishing position. These will be explained in the individual league pages on the website and in our discord.
Results will be updated within 48 hours and shown in the League Tables which can be found under the League Tab on the website
Incidents
Incident limits will be made clear on the individual league pages on the website and in our discord.
SPR wants to promote clean, fair and professional sim racing so that everyone may have an enjoyable experience.
You may protest another driver using the protest form. This will be reviewed by a panel of stewards within 48 hours. Post-race incident points may be applied in line with the SPR Codes of Practice.
FAQs
Can I join mid season?
It will depend on the league and how many drivers are currently active. We allow drivers to join leagues mid season as long as there is space.
You can check the sign up status on each league for further information.
Do I win anything?
Some leagues are designed to be as cost effective as possible for the benefit of drivers. These leagues will not be awarded cash prizes but may offer a small trophy or that ever desired pdf certificate.
We will in the near future run leagues that will offer cash prizes.
Can I protest another driver?
We do have a stewards system in place and drivers who are unahappy with another drivers actions on track will be able to protest after the race.
A form is available on the league pages to submit your protest and evidence.
This will be reviewed by the SPR admin team in line with Iracing’s own code of conduct along with our own.
Make a donation
SPR aims to build a strong and vibrant simracing community that can support and develop individual drivers. SPR will not ask members and drivers for financial contributions as in the future we hope to generate income from advertising and sponsorship deals.
Until such time that SPR is self-sustaining we do have a donation pot that anyone may contribute towards. All proceeds go directly to the running of the website, race servers and other initiatives that benefit everyone.
